A Positively Glowing Summer

Summer is officially here and things are about to get hectic! Kids are home from school, day camps are planned, my business is almost ready to open,  and I’m really looking forward to heading to Toronto at the end of summer for my sister’s wedding!! With such busy times ahead, I know I have to really find some time to take care of myself and try to stay healthy.

Here are some tips for a positively glowing summer!

1. Drink Lots of Water

Drinking water keeps you hydrated and helps cool you down on those hot, sweaty days. It’s important to refuel your body and keep you energy levels up, up, up!

2. Sun in Moderation

I love the heat of the sun, but too much of it can lead to problems. Remember to wear sunscreen, a fabulous hat and some hipster shades to protect yourself from harmful rays. During peak times, go inside and cool off with some lemonade and gin…

3. Vitamins!

Speaking of fruit – don’t forget to take your vitamins! Spend those glorious summer days feeling your best. Vitafusion™Men’s Complete Multivitamin and Women’s Complete Multivitamin are a quick and delicious way to ensure you get your daily dose of vitamins all year round!

4. Eat Well!

Summer is a great time to expand your diet with so many tasty and nutritious foods in season! I love stopping farm stands and buying freshly picked cherries, strawberries, blueberries, and peaches!

5. Work Out!

I love the warm days of summer because you can head outside and the world becomes your gym. Hiking the trails, going for a walk, and even playing in the sprinkler with the kids in the backyard are all fun and easy things to keep you moving.

What do you do in the summer to keep your energy up and stay healthy?
