Heating Things Up on Valentine’s Day #forgetchocolate

I don’t care if you’re a big fan of Valentine’s Day or not – my cynical side mocks the “gift card” holiday, while my girly side makes heart-shaped toast and eggs for breakfast. Either way, Valentine’s Day is a good reminder to show your loved one some extra care and pampering. Making time for your partner (and ultimately, yourself!) can become tricky when it’s all about work, gym, kids, groceries, bills, laundry, and cleaning toilets. (Ew.)

But making time for your relationship is so important! My man and I have been together for almost 12 years (I can’t even believe it.) and it can sometimes take a bit of work to regain that spark and be really, truly infatuated with your partner. This Valentine’s Day, let’s make it our mission to #forgetchocolate and really show your sweetheart just how smitten you are!

Tips to Heat Things Up on Valentine’s Day

// Touch //
A massage is great – but to really turn the romance up a notch, light some candles, play soft music, and try a scented body oil to heighten the experience.

// Foreplay //
Don’t rush to get to the main event, make it your mantra to focus on foreplay and have fun with it! Research suggests that the ideal time for foreplay is 18 minutes!

// Enhance //
Get adventurous with a lubricant to enhance the sensations between you and your partner. Try Trojan™ Arouses & Intensifies and Arouses & Releases™ Lubricants to take bedroom play to new heights.

// Have Fun //
Experiment with a Trojan™ Hot Spot™ Vibrating Ring or Multi-Thrill™ 3 in 1 Vibrating Bullet to spark pleasure and heighten sensations for both you and your partner.

Being spontaneous in the bedroom doesn’t have to equate to a 50 Shades-type adventure. On Valentine’s Day, #forgetchocolate and use your imagination to leave your partner with experiences and fun that they won’t forget.

This post was sponsored by Trojan™, and the products mentioned can be purchased at mass and drugs retailers across Canada, or even from the privacy of your own home at www.trojanvibrations.ca. Have fun!

    This is all assuming you have someone on valentines day. Or as I like to call it, half price candy eve.

    I read the title scandalized because I’m a chocoholic but it gives ideas (eyebrow waggles) of other things to do later… (more eyebrow wiggling) after the kids go to bed!

    Definitely making time for a relationship is much more important than all the merchandise one can purchase for Valentines Day, anniversaries etc.

    Having your lover feed you a piece of chocolate during sex – I recommend you try this. If he makes you work for it… 50 shades of chocolate.
