The buzzword at my household these days is à la français – that is, let’s try to learn how to say all the things in French, because my tween-aged daughter is heading into French Immersion for the next school year. The requirements for the curriculum include learning the multiplication times tables in French, along with picking up a French-English dictionary and learning basic phrases à la français.
So imagine our surprise when Build-A-Bear came out with a few new additions to the Honey Girls line that are straight out of Paris! Remember last year when I first introduced you to the new Honey Girls line at Build-A-Bear? Well the story continues…
Teegan, the leader of the Honey Girls, travels to Paris (ooh la la!) with her mom, and while she’s there she meets up with an old friend, Stella (a fashionista poodle), who introduces her to Misha, a fancy dancing fox. They bond together over their stories and learn that they can #BeBrighterTogether. When Teegan heads home, she’s full of Parisian inspiration and the Honey Girls release two new songs – check out the video ‘Ooh La La’ below!
My daughter is obsessed with these wonderful ‘bears’ – her favourite is Misha, but she adores all of them and can’t stop dressing them up in each others clothing and hanging out with them. The Honey Girls are well-made and have lovely hair! Each of the Honey Girls is unique and different looking, you’ll just have to collect them all!
As my daughter is growing up, I still love when she plays and uses her imagination. I don’t want her to lose that part of her as the real world becomes more so. The Honey Girls send a great message to girls of all ages: girls can do anything and the sky is the limit! When talents and skills are combined with others, they can be brighter together! My daughter also loves the songs from the Honey Girls – listen to the songs and watch the music videos on their official website.
